Oak Grove is a fairly large, quiet neighborhood just five minutes north of Malden’s city center. The community is almost entirely residential, with houses and apartment buildings of every description spread across the neighborhood.
Residents enjoy direct access to Oakdale Park, part of the sprawling Middlesex Fells Reservation; the ponds and forest trails make it an excellent area to enjoy the great outdoors. MBTA rail service via Oak Grove Station will get you to downtown Boston in just fifteen minutes, and even by car the trip is typically under half an hour, making Oak Grove a terrific location for commuters.
