The college town of Aiken is located in southeastern South Carolina near the Georgia border. It is home to the University of South Carolina Aiken and to Aiken Technical College. The city is roughly 18 miles northeast of Augusta, but unlike its neighbor, golf doesn't reign supreme here -- polo does. He has been a Trustee of the Hitchcock Woods Foundation since 1998 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2008-2013. He has also assisted in the establishment of conservation easements to protect over 2,000 acres of the old Graniteville Company's lands, now known as Sage Creek. Randy serves on the Board of the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, a member of the Chamber of Commerce Equine Steering Committee, a member of the Aiken County Sheriff Department's Posse, an official of the Aiken Steeplechase, a celebrity waiter, and the "Voice" of the Aiken Horse Show.
