Great spacious rooms with private bathrooms and continuously improving areas through the entire building, only downside is the “VIP parking” if you don’t want to walk up stairs/hill every time you come back.
865 is a great place to begin your home home ownership it’s cheap and roomy and it’s pet friendly which is rare to find at a good price nowadays .865 also hosts several even so you can’t get comfy fast and get to know your souroundings
865 Apartment is generally very clean, there are weekly elevator problems, and random additional charges every month on rent. They also have a horrible parking situation. It’s $60 a month to park in front of your building.
The staff is very approachable and extremely kind and helpful. They respond to emails in a timely manner. Added security is a huge plus, and the building is kept very clean!

I am entering my third year living at 865, and I love the location! As a student at JMU, it is located close to campus while still providing me with space away from the school atmosphere. Since the management change, I have seen noticeable differences in the effort to bring the 865 community together which has been nice!

I enjoyed the time spent in my apartment at 865 East. The most respectful people worked as the assistants and managing, I would say they did a fine job at staying in contact and making sure everyone was satisfied with the residency. I as well enjoyed the gym and game room, not to mention the rooftop. Thank you 865!

They are awesome the maintenance is quick and nice the front desk are super friendly and management is great and work with you if you have any problems or need any help.
Good experience. Easy process until the bumps with the credit process. And then it became one issue after another. But got everything resolved and hopefully the move-in will be no issues.
So far very nice, my roommates are friendly and maintenance staff is efficient and friendly. The onsite staff have been quite friendly and accommodating.
This is my second year living here and I have resigned to live here for my senior year as well! The apartment is spacious and feels very cozy. The staff is amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure that you never have to worry about any problems!
a great place to life if you’re looking for reliable and cheap housing. easy to get ahold of the leasing department when needed. Maintenance is quick with getting repairs done.
Great place to live. Staff is very friendly and active, organizing community events, and just being there if you have questions. The building itself is nice, but could be cleaned more frequently. The amenities are good. The game room is a fun place to chill, and play pool or watch TV with friends. The Gym is nice, but some machines are broken, and a little lacking. Overall a great place to live, I have no real gripes.
I would absolutely love if you all would add more office hours for the office staff members to accommodate the for people that work 8-5 mon-fri

This is a very nice apartment. I have had several bad experiences in this town, including the Harrison. But this is a serious upgrade compared to that.

It’s a great place that’s always kept clean and they do fun things for residents and the amenities are awesome staff is so cool and they fix things on time and correctly and the community is so friendly and helpful they gave me support when I was moving in.
