It has been decorated by an award-winning designer and has a large backyard with chickens, outdoor furniture and shares the laundry room of the main house. This is an apartment with its own entrance, living, dining, efficiency kitchen, and two beds. The house has a large fenced in backyard and the apartment comes with parking for two cars (in a line) and has street parking. We've charmed it out big time. The flat has a king bed, queen bed (seperate rooms), XL sofa for comfy viewing of the 55" HD 4K LED TV (basically a private movie theater), and dining area. There is an efficiency kitchen with an electric stove/ hot plates, microwave, large mini fridge and cooking utensils (including a coffee maker), plus it’s walking distance to loads of restaurants and food carts. The bath is the master bath for the entire hone, with a gorgeous freestanding tub, infinity shower and double sinks. It sleeps 4 but we are looking to rent to 1-2 people. All linens to be provided by tenants. We are a 5 minute walk to the heart of Multnomah Village (amazing shops, restaurants and bars - the most charming neighborhood in all of Portland!) and an 8 minute drive to the center of downtown. $1,290/ month for this furnished rental in Portland's best neighborhood, "The Village in the Heart of Portland". $1,290 deposit. Utilities include trash, water, gas, electricity, WiFi, landscaping and a monthly cleaner. 1/3s of the house’s utilities to be paid by renter, averaging $260/ month for the apartment and is balanced against actual utilities quarterly. The original Lease will be through June 1st, 2020, when it will be up for an annual renewal going forward. The main house has roomies in our twenties and thirties that are relatively quiet, working in sustainability, engineering, management consulting, and design. We have two hypoallergenic kitties in the main house. While the apartment renters will have access to the laundry room, no other areas will be shared between the main house and apartment.
