The only sounds are natural - wind, birds, and silence. Trails and wilderness abound - National Forest land on multiple sides, the beautiful Gross Reservoir, sprawling Walker Ranch and Flagstaff Mountain are just minutes away - nature is all around. Ideally situated at the center of the 40 acre property and at the end of a half-mile long driveway through the forest is a beautiful, lovingly furnished and decorated two-bedroom home. The huge master suite with a vaulted ceiling and king-sized bed opens onto decks on both sides, and connects to a generous master bathroom with oversized tub overlooking the wilderness outside. The vaulted living room is anchored by a stone fireplace and also opens onto decks on both sides. A dining table has room for six, while the table in the breakfast nook seats another four. The kitchen is outfitted with brand new stainless steel appliances and stocked with everything you need for gourmet cooking. A guest bedroom has a twin-sized bed as well as a bunk bed with a full-sized bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. A guest bathroom with bath is next to the guest bedroom. Outside, a six-person hot tub is the ideal spot to soak in the natural surroundings. Exploring the land around the home reveals rocky outcroppings, cliffs, caves, meadows, viewpoints, creeks, aspen groves, and much more, all contained in a completely private and quiet natural setting. Deer, elk, and moose regularly roam through the property, while forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper trees grace the land. Walker Ranch with its abundant trails is a local's favorite, and only five minutes from the property. Gross Reservoir allows non-motorized boating and fishing, and is also just a few minutes away. Another local favorite, Flagstaff Mountain, is on the way to Boulder. Driving time from the driveway to the edge of Boulder is less than 20 minutes. This is an incredibly unique and special opportunity to be fully immersed in gorgeous Colorado mountain living while being located close to Boulder.
