Brown Street is accessible from Alhambra Avenue, Pine Street, or Pacheco Blvd. The Colonial is approximately 1.3 miles from John Muir Elementary; 4 blocks from Martinez Jr. High; and less than 1 mile from Alhambra High. Pre-schools and private schools are also close. A convenient store is within 3 blocks and Safeway is less than 1 mile. Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is less than one-half mile away. The Boys and Girls Club and City Hall are 9 blocks away.
