About This Property
Looking for a peaceful space to get away from the buzz of the day? I’m looking for 3 female roommates to join me at “The Hive”. This is a clean & well-maintained 1920s craftsman house in the desirable Woods Park neighborhood.. There are currently 2 bedrooms available on the main floor as well as a brand new basement bedroom. All shared spaces have had recent updates including fresh paint, updated finishes in both bathrooms, new washer & dryer in the laundry room, and the basement has been completely remodeled. The kitchen has updated appliances, a good sized pantry, and enough counter space for meal prep. Outside, we have a large backyard, 2 car garage with alley access, and a large front porch with a swing. Love plants? We’ve got plenty of room for a garden! The Woods Park community center (volleyball & tennis courts, pool, picnic areas, etc) is also just a block away. If you are looking for a home where you can unwind from hectic days of work/school, this is the location for you! (Disclaimer: due to severe allergies, this is a pet free zone) Rooms will be available Mid-May. Monthly rent is $777 per room. Included in your monthly payment: water, electric, natural gas, internet, and trash service. *Second bedroom has been repainted, but an updated photo was not given.

Awards – Lincoln has ‘em. One of the nation’s best college towns, one of the best downtowns, one of the top 100 places to live (three years in a row and counting), one of the nation’s most recession-proof cities, a top beer city, a best place to retire … whew! If you are thinking about moving to Lincoln, get ready to take lots of bows as you’ll be a part of this city’s many accolades.
The dynamic, vibrant, and progressive city you see today began as wild salt marshes. The city was founded in 1856 as Lancaster, but the name was later changed to honor President Lincoln. In 1869, the University of Nebraska was founded. Today, the Cornhuskers football team is a point of pride in the city, so be ready to cheer them on.
As a major Midwestern city, you’ll find a lot of charm mixed in with those skyscrapers. Yes, Lincoln is urban, but it’s the urban core of an otherwise rural state, filled with all of the things you love about the Midwest – the open prairies, the farmhouses, the open sky.
