802 Lowell is an old house that has been divided into four separate apartments. The basement contains a three bedroom apartment, the first floor contains a two bedroom and studio apartment, and the second floor contains a three bedroom apartment. The house sits just across the street from Eastern Michigan University's eastern-most boundary. The house sits on the corner of Lowell and St. John's street and looks across the EMU commuter lot at Best Hall. In other words, you can't live much closer to the EMU campus without living ON the EMU campus. The owner (me) has looked after this and other Ypsilanti homes for over 20 years and sincerely tries to provide a quality no-hassle living experience for the people who rent from me. If you are interested in viewing the apartment, please suggest a time or two that works best for you and I'll do my best to accommodate your schedule. Please note that out of respect for my current tenants, I try to avoid showings before noon and I have to give them at least a couple of days advance notice of showings. Thanks for looking, Steve
This non-smoking apartment will be available in early June. The rent includes water, hot water, and heat. You pay for only electricity and cable/internet. This apartment features two large bedrooms and an open floor plan that flows from the living room to the kitchen quite nicely. The house has off street parking for residents and on-site laundry at @ 2.00/load for the wash and the dryer is free. The four unit house has one furnace that services four apartments. The thermostat is located in the basement apartment that tends to run cool in the winter. The thermostat is locked off at 69 degrees. The house does not offer central air conditioning so you will be on your own with that.
