This apartment was abysmal. We were drawn in by its surprisingly cheap prices and a fantastic location, but that's where the good stops. The landlord(s) are terrible, rude and manipulative. They said we'd have "brand-new cookware installed" and to their credit, the fridge and oven did show up, but I had to install it myself, the repair guy was pretty much useless. There were consistently break-ins/security risks, the laundry machines were almost always broken and filthy, there were cockroaches and ants, and when a massive water-leak happened they told us on four separate occasions they'd evaluate our unit for water-damage. Surprise surprise, they never did. Finally when we were able to move out, we ended up leaving a month before our lease ended in the hopes of doing a staggered move, but when we went back to get the rest of our stuff, the landlord already gave the place away WHILE IT WAS STILL IN OUR NAME!!! When we messaged them asking for compensation or an explanation, they basically just said "sucks to be you, you're not paying us so we don't care" and the moment our lease was up, our land-lord refused to answer any emails/phone calls, presumably not caring unless we got lawyers involved. These people are atrocious and I cannot stress enough how bad of a place it was to live in.
