      Dump

      Again pool and hot tub gate locked. This is becoming an every day thing. Excuse after excuse. Terrible management. Drains back up, mold in a lot of apartments, dog poop all over, cigarette butts all over.

      Great Location & Love the View

      Not safe or secure!

      79 West RKW Residential This is a key to a unit that you carelessly left out for just anyone to pickup. When I returned this to the office, the manager was unfazed. Your security and safety protocol is non existent and unacceptable. Anyone considering renting should consider their safety and security when doing so and not rent from this company. PCI compliance is also non existent. It’s a shame that a company doesn’t care about the safety of their residents.

      The pool service has been worthless as can be. The pool and all amenities don't exist here.

      Renters, don’t rush into this place.

      I decided break my lease to rent a vacation home until another property is ready. Ever since the hurricane, many of these properties have been struggling with being up-kept.. My main focus is safety, they have this inspection ever few months or so where anyone comes into your apartment UNANNOUNCED. Pretty on pictures but when you actually settle in you see why everyone was complaining. Amenities, Management, Ac issues, Mold, Smoke through vents from other neighbors, Not to mention the alarm that goes off in the middle of the night. This place is not a home.

      This place is nasty!!!

      The pool does not work it is closed indefinitely. Maintenance is almost non existent. The grounds are unkempt and they can’t be bothered to empty the trash cans. The elevators are also nasty. Most appliances don’t work correctly and if you want newer ones you must pay an extra monthly fee. Management is a joke!!!!       Please read!!!

      Do not move here!!! Even for free! Fire alarm will wake you up at night. No fire no smoke. Just someone got a fun. Walls thin so you hear and know everything about neighbors. Pool always close. Barking dogs. Urine. Trash in elevators and stairs. Poops on parking lot. I’m feeling so stressed and tired. It is not home. It is hell. Can’t wait the end of contract so I gonna move out and finally be happy to say bye this devil place. So sad. Don’t do the mistake!! You was Warned…

      Renters beware!!

      Renters beware if your looking for an apartment at 79 West. South Oxford Management is a greedy company. Rent prices are outrageous. Folks that have lived here for years are being priced out of our homes. Rent increases of 60% over the last year. Apartment are outdated the washer/dryers are old and barely work, mold in duct work, AC units break constantly, dog poop all over the property. It’s disgusting!! If you want upgrades like appliances you have to pay an extra monthly fee!! Would not recommend living at 79 West. ??

      79 West is the Best

      I have lived at 79 West for over a year. The property is recently under new ownership and management. In the short time since being under new management and ownership the changes that have been made are in a positive direction. I am glad that they kept the office and maintenance staff that we the residents were used to. Working with Brittany is always a pleasure. She is always positive, even in the most difficult of circumstances. She treats people with respect and is always wiling to listen and help with any issues that might come up with your apartment. I recently moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment and she made that transition easy for me. She also checked in with me the day after I moved to make sure everything was good in my apartment. When I have had issues in my apartment the maintenance staff have gotten to my issues in a timely manner and are always nice and professional. All of the maintenance staff are good guys but my favorites are Tim and Mike. I trust them in my apartment if I am there or not and they are just really nice and caring people. When I see them on the grounds they always speak and make sure they ask if everything is good with my apartment. My 2 dogs also love those two and if we run into them when we are out walking Tim and Mike always make it a point to give them a little love, which makes my day and the dogs too. 79 West is a very dog friendly place to live. Ask Gizmo and Binks, they love to visit Miss Brittany in the office and of course get a treat or two. Also if you haven't seen the pool at 79West you need to, it's AWESOME!

      Renter Beware

      I have lived here the past year, the walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbors doing everything from dishes to going to the bathroom. The police are out here often due to drug relented crimes.The pool area is very nice though the hot tubs seldom work , and people access the pool area at all times of the night as there appears to not be any security, though 79 west claims to have it. The office staff and location are the best thing about the place. They have recently repainted all the hallways....this will probably be the first thing anyone notices as you can see shoe prints up and down all the halls. The stairways are often too filthy to use due to dog urine and people leaving trash in them as well as outside of the trash shoots.

      Worst Company EVER

      Worst company ( Greystar management included) to rent from! After FOLLOWING an employees instructions to fill out proper paperwork to leave an abusive situation, I was told A YEAR LATER, that it wasn't done right. The incompetent employee never communicated to me more was needed to complete the process, never said ANYTHING was wrong. And they have managed to make the worst situation of my life even worse, by saying this is all my fault and not having their UNDERTRAINED and undereducated employees take responsibility. NEVER rent from 79 West OR ANY Greystar Property because they will screw you over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      place is very pet friendly and the pool and hot tubs are great but most of all the staff is very friendly and on top of things especially Brittany who has taken care of all of our needs would highly recommend this place resort type living

      Convenience, luxuary, and Amazing Staff!!

      I've been living here for almost three years now and I couldn't be any happier. Amazing proximity to the North West Florida Airport, Pier Park, and the beach. 10 minute walk to the beach...Amazing RIGHT!! I recently had to speak to the management team about a slight concern of mine, and they went Above and Beyond, to make me feel at home and like my concern was priority #1. I tip my hat to Brittany for all the effort and hard work that she has done. The Maintenance team is quick and though on any work orders that go in. Thank you guys.

      Can't beat the price for the location!

      We have lived at 79 West for 3 1/2 years. You can not beat the price for the location...just a mile from Pier Park and across the road from the beach. There has been a couple different Management companies since we have moved here...but everything is taken care of. I pay online so I don't have much contact with staff outside of a phone call or an email...any concerns have been taken care of. There is a maintenance staff onsite and they have fixed anything I had a problem with. The parking lot is large and lighted, there is a fenced dog play area. there are grills and picnic tables. The pool is spectacular! There is 2 hot tubs. They upgraded the landscaping last year, looks really nice. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and navigates the property without any problem. It is in a nice neighborhood, I walk a 3 mile radius and have always felt safe. Our apartment has tile floors, the bedroom is carpeted. There is a dishwasher and full size washer and dryer, microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, garbage disposal, nice granite countertops. Easy to decorate with white appliances and cabinets and the light colored walls; accent walls are offered. My favorite thing about our apartment is the balcony, we can sit and watch the sunset over the gulf. It's a nice size...we have 2 large tall Adirondack type chairs and one layout chair and a large table and there is still plenty of room. My second favorite thing would be the pool, it is huge and has a beach type entry, bathrooms on each end of pool deck, there is plenty of chairs and tables and there is beautiful palms around the pool.

      Great apartments, even better staff!

      I have lived here for about a year and it has been great, small for the rent but hey it's the beach! If you need a apartment this is a great pick. All the staff was fast at fixing any issue, and Britney in the front office is the best, she did everything she could to help. thanks y'all!

      Best place ever!

      Just want to say how great 79 West is to live at! The entire office and maintenance staff are really the best!! Tiffany is always so friendly and helpful no matter what! Brittany went out of her way to help another resident and ourselves today! How great is that! We are so happy to live here, it has really added to our retirement!! Love the apartment, the pool and hot tub are perfect; part of the reason we moved here with also being so close to the gulf a true asset! Maintenance always takes care of any issues very quickly and keeps on it until problem is solved!! We feel very fortunate to have Tracy, Tiffany, and Brittany always there to help!       Best Value For Your Money

      This complex has everything I was looking for in a rental. The apartments are up-to-date and the extra bathroom and washer/dryer are definitely a plus. The swimming pool/spa is elaborate for a apartment community and they have a convenient pet area as well. Plenty of parking even on a late night and it is off the main street so there is no heavy traffic around the complex. The location couldn't be better as it is steps to the beach and close to a grocery store and drug store and there are multiple food establishments close by. The leasing staff is fantastic and quick to respond to issues that arise. The experience here has been the best I've ever had.

      Favorite by far...

      I was looking for an apartment that was reasonable, in a beautiful location, and I wanted something with a bit of character. 79 West fulfills all those things. The staff are great, all so sweet and the location is superb. My view of the sunrise/sunset from my balcony (included in every unit) is amazing and the layout of the apartment itself is great. An affordable price also, this end of the beach is quiet and feels more residential so you don't get the noise from the PCB vacationers. Also, the complex features one of the most beautiful pools that I've seen at an apartment complex here. And they're really great about pets, there's a one time fee and no monthly charge for them after that. I would say to check out your neighbors, mine are a little bit loud but it's liveable noise (for the most part). The only drawback is that they're some sketchy characters, and from time to time the lady neighbor can be heard screaming and slamming doors. Also, they have some oddballs come knocking LOUDLY on their door at all hours (they definitely seem to be doing something underhand, drugs or something) and they sometimes mistake their door for mine, which is not fun. For me, I feel comfortable 90% of the time and that's okay with me for all the other perks. I would say to hang around a little if you can to see what your neighbors will be like, and then decide. I would definitely suggest checkin it out if you're in the market to rent.

      Do not rent here!

      Do not rent here! Loud neighbors fighting, screaming, selling and doing drugs everywhere. Found needles in the elevator, saw a girl screaming on a porch one night with blood all over her face, some kid smokes in the stairway all the time, saw a homeless guy under the stairs on the ground floor one morning. Cops get called here a lot. The list goes on and on. Hear all kinds of things from people having trouble with roaches, bed bugs and mold. So glad I signed a short lease. Can't wait to move! Walls are too thin and I hear everything my neighbor does, including screaming at her kids constantly and fighting on her cell phone. Sucks too because the pool is awesome and the apartment is really nice but I just don't want to walk outside of my apartment. Getting outta here soon!

      79 West review

      Horrible experience with this apartment complex! I had my hours cut at work and could no longer afford my apartment. I talked with management about moving out, after some back and forth they agreed to let me out of my lease with a forfeit of deposit only. They already had someone else that was ready to move in as soon as I left. I cleaned the apartment and did a full walk through when I turned my keys in. This was in September of 2014. Come May of 2015, the parent company "Riverstone", puts me into collections for the move out fee which was over $2k. This was months after leaving the complex and turning my keys in! I told Riverstone/Greystar about the agreement and they stated that the manager didn't have authorization to make that decision. Rather then putting fault on the employee, they damage my credit. Horrible complex in every way!

      Peaceful

      This is a great apartment if you love to be close to one of the most beautiful beaches of the gulf of Mexico. The beautiful colors of emerald green and blue are so tranquil. Just a block away. The pool here with its mushroom waterfall will quickly put you in a relaxing mood. The lawn and pool is well maintained and the staff is great with helping you at all times. If you are an animal lover then this is the place. There are very few places to have your furry friend. There is a lot of room for them to walk. They have papers and trash cans for your conveinance. The best thing of all for me as I am in my 50's are Elevators.Yes so nice. I love it here and so would you.. Teresa M Panama City,Beach,Fla
