About 780 N Prescott Dr Palm Springs, CA 92262
This guest house still retains many of the features of a mother-in-law cottage for one of the early Palm Springs families of Old Las Palmas. The living area has a large room original stone walls with a huge skylight, satillo tile floors and plenty of light. The bathroom still has the original 1920's sink. Kitchen is a very nice size with its own large picture window facing the fruit trees and its own entrance. A beautiful stove and nice refrigerator but no dishwasher. Bedroom has hardwood floors. There are also two nice fan lights. There is a large private patio with a lot of privacy. We would prefer a quiet, single, non smoking person who works away from home and who enjoys fruit trees, a small garden of their own and enjoys living in a vintage home in one of the best residential areas of Palm Springs. Own private entrance and shared laundry. No pool. Gas, Electric, Water included. However Electric not covered from Apr-Oct. This guest house is located one block to the main shopping areas and restaurants. All within walking distance to Palm Canyon.

A sun-filled patch of desert surrounded by mountains, Palm Springs naturally developed as a resort town. Tourism is still the biggest industry, with a variety of hotels, events, and the Palm Springs Convention Center welcoming thousands to the area. Popular events include the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade.
Of course, living in a Palm Springs apartment means you'll have easy access to these festivals and events. But you'll also enjoy everything this spot in the Sonoran Desert offers -- its hot springs, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and the beautiful Mount San Jacinto State Park. If you enjoy hiking, you'll love the Cactus to Clouds Trail, which leads to the top of the San Jacinto Peak from Palm Springs -- to an elevation of 10,300 feet.
Palm Springs is roughly an hour southeast of Los Angeles, and has long been a getaway for celebrities and movie stars.
