If you have stalked us at all, you know we are huge old house nerds, if the history of how things worked is not remotely interesting to you, we likely are not the right company for you. Just saying.... At one time, South Wayne and Fort Wayne were different cities. South Wayne was where ALL the wealth was. All of West Central abandoned Fort Wayne to move to South Wayne and build Mansions. Asa was no different. He was the Grandson of General Lemuel Asa Grosvenor who fought at Bunker Hill in the revolutionary war. Asa was a muckity muck in Allen county politics on a number of levels. He left us, as the future, a spectacular home on a quiet, one way street. 1 bedroom lower in Historic South Wayne. Quiet one way street. At one time, this was a HUGE single family Mansion. It is now a small apartment building with 4 (four) units. This one is just off the front door on the lower east side of the building. The ceilings are 12 foot tall throughout the space. It was a stately mansion! Large living room with tons of natural light. The flooring throughout is carpet with ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Likely the smallest kitchen you will ever have in your entire life. Dude, Microscopic, seriously, well planned and built, but tiny. While we are honestly VERY proud of the way we created the kitchen out of a hallway, no seriously a hallway, anyone would acknowledge that it is really pretty small. If you are a gourmet French Chef, you will not be happy. Picture in your mind the smallest kitchen you an think of.... It's half that size. Actually look at the pictures and the video. There you go. If you need an expansive kitchen, this is not the space for you, go a head and click out of here and into another one of our listings. If you could care less about kitchen size, then sweet Jesus, claim a ton of living space, in a cool mansion, walking distance to Wunderkammer and Bravas Burgers for super cheap rent. Just don't circle back and cry about the small kitchen with the electric stove. This is not the kitchen of a gourmet French Chef. Large bedroom with a bay window, and a large closet. Remote control ceiling fan in the bedroom. Somewhat modern remodeled bathroom. Laundry on property. Up to 2 cats or 1 reasonable dog are welcome with a 1 time $200 pet fee and $20 a month per pet. Additional pets are charged a $100 pet fee and $20 a month each. Tenant pays Electric and a $25 surcharge for sewer. The Landlord provides your Water, and Trash. ALL ELECTRIC UNIT, NO GAS BILL. The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum credit score of 650, no active collections, no felonies, no violent charges of any kind, zero evictions, and have a (combined) Net or take home income of 3 (Three) times the posted rent.
