Cathedral City, CA, known to locals as "Cat City", is a desert community in the Coachella Valley that offers a more residential, everyday feel compared to its well-known neighbor, Palm Springs. It's the kind of place where mountain views are part of your daily backdrop and outdoor adventure is always within reach. Sitting between Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City has grown into a diverse, close-knit community with a mix of affordable housing options, local dining, and easy access to everything the Coachella Valley has to offer. Whether you're drawn by the lower cost of living relative to neighboring resort towns, the proximity to nature, or the laid-back desert lifestyle, Cat City delivers on all fronts. The city takes its name from Cathedral Canyon to the south, where wind-shaped rock formations caught the attention of early settlers.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Personal I was born and raised in Portugal. My family moved to Wisconsin when I was in Junior High. After graduating from Carthage College with a BA in Marketing and International Business I moved to Chicago, Illinois. My husband and I were very fortunate to be given a contract to work in Singapore for a few years. We enjoyed working and discovering new worlds and after that we were ready to come back home and start a family. California seemed like a much warmer and sunny place to live so we headed west. We have lived in La Quinta for the past 12 years and have enjoyed our Desert lifestyle so much that becoming a realtor seemed like the best way for me to work and share what I love. My current hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering with various programs at my son's school. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful community with so much to do that I want to share it with everyone that I meet.
