Sandwiched between the resort glamour of Palm Springs and the quiet polish of Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, affectionately called "Cat City" by locals, carves out an identity that is entirely its own. With more than 50,000 residents spread across 23 sun-soaked square miles, this Coachella Valley community delivers genuine desert living, jaw-dropping views of the San Jacinto Mountains, and a pace that feels refreshingly grounded. One of the city's most distinctive features is its checkerboard land pattern, where alternating square miles belong to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, a reflection of the deep Native American heritage woven into the area's foundation. Incorporated in 1981, Cat City has grown into the second-largest city in the Coachella Valley and proudly holds the distinction of being the only place in the valley to host a hot air balloon festival.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Personal I was born and raised in Portugal. My family moved to Wisconsin when I was in Junior High. After graduating from Carthage College with a BA in Marketing and International Business I moved to Chicago, Illinois. My husband and I were very fortunate to be given a contract to work in Singapore for a few years. We enjoyed working and discovering new worlds and after that we were ready to come back home and start a family. California seemed like a much warmer and sunny place to live so we headed west. We have lived in La Quinta for the past 12 years and have enjoyed our Desert lifestyle so much that becoming a realtor seemed like the best way for me to work and share what I love. My current hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering with various programs at my son's school. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful community with so much to do that I want to share it with everyone that I meet.
