It has four private bedrooms, a dorm, and a Library. One room has a King-size bed, with a temperapedic matress and a private bathroom. Two other bedrooms have queen size beds. One room has two single bedds, and one has bunks. Each room has unique personality and sun exposure. There is access to extra fast broadband internet from every room. The elements of interior design highlight the timeless themes of nature. Colorful curtains, throws and tapestries combined with rustic lightning accent a soothing and vitalizing ambiance which offers a glimpse of the Berkshire Mountains’ scenic beauty. Each room provides a magnificent view of the land. We also have two spaces for camping, where you can connect more deeply to nature, be woken by a birdsong and lulled to sleep with mystical chants of the night and the sound of the river. The Main Hall The main hall space is the heart of the Chalet. It is the largest open space of the main house. It faces a bubbling mountain stream and offers excellent acoustics for meditation, voice and music. With soaring timber frames, the construction merges at the ceiling in a pyramid-like shape, with four magnificent skylights completing the majestic spacious view. This construction is also designed to maintain an even temperature in all types of weather. The Hall is raised high above the ground offering an impression of elevation and floating. In addition, a luxurious deck is attached to one of its sides, serving as an extension of the main room as well as contributing to its spacious and healing atmosphere. This inspiring, fresh space is built to serve as a direct portal into high-vibration energies and inner landscapes. There is a projector set up to create movie-theater experience if you wish to watch videos in the room. Cedar Sauna and Grecian Pool (38 by 18) The Pool The inground pool is 20 ft long. The refreshing jewel in the midst of summer.... Kitchen We have a fully equipped kitchen. There are tons of spices that you can use. You can also enjoy the famous VitaMix food processor as well as Le Creuset cookware, which makes all dishes exceptionally delicious. This location is incredible for its closeness to the Berkshires, Upstate New York, as well as equal distance from New York and Boston. The nature is noble and the landscapes are incomparable. All Berkshire attractions, Museums, Tanglewood, as well as Jiminey Peak, exquisite restaurants - all within 35 minutes. This property is completely private. It is located on several levels - the stream below and a hill above. We can hear the stream, and magical singing of birds, crows, hawks, bluebirds, woodpeckers. In the woods around the Chalet you’ll find all kinds of species of trees. Most often you will come across oak, maple, birch, beech, basswood, as well as willow, hickory, chestnut, white oak, spruce, pine, mountain ash and many more. Common meadow flowers on and around Galiana land include dandelion, Queen Anne’s lace, goldenrod, and black-eyed Susan. Wild sarsaparilla, Solomon’s seal, Indian pipe, bunchberry, and goldthread flourish amid the forests in the area. Among protected plants are all species of fern, bayberry, native orchids and trillium. If you walk around in the woods attentively, you might come across some of the six plant species that were listed as threatened or endangered in 2003, like the sandplain gerardia, American hart’s-tongue fern, and Leedy’s roseroot.
