Owner pays ALL utilities SoCal gas, LADWP electric/trash & water/sewer, high speed wifi, even Netflix. Tenant pays $200/month utilities base fee (utilities always cost more than that but it helps some). No smoking. WiFi, Netflix included. TVs/projectors have LOTS of free apps to choose from as well. 2 queen beds; extra futon & foldable mattress, pack 'n play for up to 6 people. Window AC's cool bedrooms but are rarely needed (cool ocean breezes). Free use of boogie board, beach chairs, towels. 1000 sq ft. This cute beach apartment is a good size (1000 square feet) and has 2 bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and 1 full bathroom (with shower). * * * FULLY FURNISHED * * * Feel free to let us know anything else you may need and we will probably be able to provide it. Beautiful, durable wood-look floors throughout. Point Fermin is home to much of San Pedro's rich culture, and some great dining spots too! Enjoy Music By The Sea, the "Hey Rookie" pool and the many other local summer activities. _______________________________________________________________ CLIMATE: We are blessed with perfect weather from Mother Nature probably 90% of the year. If it's too cold we have a gas heater in the center of the house. If it's too hot, we havewindow & portable AC units set up for each bedroom. _______________________________________________________________ BEDS: Each bedroom has a queen bed. All sheets & bedding is there for you (with spares). We also have futon and a foldable mattress (both large twin size). We also offer 1 twin and 1 queen-size air bed upon request. We also have 2 single fold-out military-style canvas fold-out cots. We also have a pack 'n play. _______________________________________________________________ KITCHEN: features granite countertops, breakfast bar, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker. _______________________________________________________________ BATHROOM: Full tub/shower, toilet, sink.. Tankless water heater (fast, always-hot water). _______________________________________________________________ WE PROVIDE: Dishes/flatware, pots/pans, kitchen/bath towels, bedding, dish & bath soap/shampoo, and enough laundry detergent for your first 2 loads. 2 beach chairs and boogie boards also available on request (in the garage). _______________________________________________________________ WiFi: Fast 50Mbps WiFi internet access is included. _______________________________________________________________ TV: No cable TV per se, but . . . --Literally 60+ over-the-air channels via souped-up digital antenna. --Enjoy multiple streaming apps for unlimited streaming movies and 1,000 TV channels), as well as Roku with INCLUDED NETFLIX streaming. It's always about 10 degrees cooler here from ocean breezes. Many LA harbor longshoreman families have lived here for generations, giving this town its groovy contrast between the blue-collar union history, the neighboring opulence of Rancho Palos Verdes, and the diversity of Long Beach. You've probably seen scenes from the neighborhood in various movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Fast & Furious, Catch Me If You Can, Batman and Robin, The Usual Suspects, etc, etc). Search "san pedro tourism" for a great start. _______________________________________________________________ AREA ATTRACTIONS - SO MUCH TO DO!: 3 blocks: cliffside park/hiking, Cabrillo Beach, Angel's Gate park. WITHIN 1 BLOCK: --There's a mini-mart, The Lighthouse Deli, Pacific Diner, and a bus stop all within half a block. --Although there is a bus stop (Bus route 246) about 50 yards away, and you can use our 4-5 bikes, you're probably best off with a car to get around. Rent with one of the bigs like Hertz or try Turo ("the airbnb of cars"), or Lyft/Uber around. There is a lot to do within walking/hiking/biking distance though, including the parks & attractions and beach. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- WITHIN 3 BLOCKS: --Angel's Gate Park, a great setting to see panoramic views of the huge cruise ships and cargo ships entering the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal & Long Beach port, the St. Thomas Vincent bridge, the Cabrillo Lighthouse, and incredible ocean views from the cliffs over 100 feet high. --Point Fermin Park (open green park, live plays, whale watching) - outstanding! --Point Fermin Park's "Shakespeare by the Sea" plays on their outdoor stage multiple dates June-August each year. --The Point Fermin Lighthouse of San Pedro Harbor - a local historic attraction that is just one of the many things to see at Point Fermin park. --Paseo Del Mar (more stunningly beautiful panoramic ocean views). --Cabrillo Beach park (enjoy parasailing, wind surfing, swimming, or a quiet Bon fire). --Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse is a local historic attraction. This can actually be seen from the street a few yards from your front door. You could also check it out close up down there past Cabrillo Beach. --Cabrillo Marine Aquarium & Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club. --USS Battleship Iowa Museum. --Los Angeles Maritime Museum. --Fort MacArthur Air Force Base. --"Lost Sunken City of San Pedro" ("Atlantis of California") at 500 W Paseo Del Mar).
