Saint Clairsville’s nickname is “Paradise on the Hilltop” – and with its colorful storefronts situated on tree-lined Main Street, this charming town’s moniker stands true. Also along Main Street you’ll discover red street clocks, brick-paved sidewalks, and light posts adorned with hanging floral baskets filled with brightly-colored flowers.

From local eat-in diners to parks and unique shops, there’s a lot for residents to enjoy. The Jamboree in the Hills outdoor country music festival is a beloved event, and it used to be hosted in Saint Clairsville up until 1989. Because of its growing popularity and conversion to a 4-day event, it relocated to Morristown.

This bike-friendly town is home of The National Road Bikeway, a 2.5-mile trail that passes through a rail tunnel. Saint Clairsville has both private and public schools, plus Belmont College and Ohio University Eastern Campus.
