About This Property

Hideaway 2bed, 1bath apartment/duplex with great 2nd story views, nice light and a featherweight cost of living. Follow the concrete walkway and open your private entrance to the 360sf ground floor featuring a studio kitchen to living room layout with laminate flooring leading to full bath with tile. Head up the standard pitched, comfortably wide staircase to a well lit landing with a sweet view. The 360sf second story has a larger bedroom and shares a wall with a second, smaller room, both with laminate floors and built in closets. Heat, water, sewer, garbage, compost and recycling are all included in rent. Unit has a separate electric meter and its own electric hot water heater. Storage is mostly limited to the apt itself. If you have a lot of gear you may need to budget for off site storage. The shared yard is nice with automated sprinklers and a fire pit but not especially large, or private, being on a corner lot. The tenant in the other unit has a n 11yo and while the main, grassy, yard area is well kept the rest of the yard is often messy and commanded by packs of children and their "projects". If you require a large, very neat or private outdoor space (or don’t care for children) this will not be a good fit for you. Privately owned and thoughtfully managed. This is a safe, friendly space. Your well behaved dog is welcome, pending good compatibility with the other unit's well behaved pup. Unit has a dog door. Doggos living here cannot bark at passers by or show any agression. They will be around children on the property and must be comfortable and safe with them. Unfortunately, if you move in with your barking or aggressive dog (even if "they've never done that before"), the month to month lease will have be terminated due to liability issues. Additional terrarium or aquarium pets considered. $50/mo additional for pets. Lease is month to month. No deposit. First and last month's rent is paid up front to secure the apt. When it's time to head on down the trail, simply provide your one month's notice and the last month's rent will be applied. Longer lease term considered upon request after the first few months of successful renting. All humans and canines intending to live in the apartment must apply together to ensure it's a good fit for everyone living here. The apartment may not be sublet. Tenants must be mature, child friendly (including your dog who may encounter children aging from infant to teen), willing to keep noise to a minimum/walk softly up the stairs after 9pm and keep the apartment reasonably clean and free of mice. This unit garners massive interest and goes fast once it hits the market!
