Deborah was born in Ohio and as a young girl, her family relocated to Naples, Florida. She became involved early in real estate and at age 18 was head of property allocations for the largest land developer in Florida. She relocated to Miami-Dade County in 1969 to attend the University of Miami and has lived and worked there ever since. She became a partner in a large architectural woodworking firm and upon meeting her husband, a native Miamian and successful insurance agent, got her insurance licenses and ran the office for American Central Insurance Agency founded in 1969 which she now owns. She is fully familiar with all aspects of insurance and finance and has served as a Director of Plus International Bank since it's inception in 2000. Real Estate, however was always her first love. You will not find a real estate person more well versed in all the aspects necessary for a successful transaction than Deborah. She is multi-lingual (French, Spanish, English), worked with a large property trust which she helped manage, was instrumental in the purchase, sale, and management of the properties, and thoroughly knows the marketplace both commercial and residential. As well as a Certified Property Manager.
Some of her other achievements include she is the Honorary Consul General Republic of Tunisia and member of the Consular Corps of Miami, on the Board of Advisors for Florida International University's School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA), and served on the Budget Advisory Board for the City of Miami Beach. She has been a Board member of many organizations such as The Children's Home Society, American Heart Association and a long-standing member of a number of Chambers of Commerce.
As a resident of Miami –Dade for 45 years, most of which were spent on Miami Beach, Deborah can provide a level of expertise that most realtors cannot. Combine that with her vast knowledge and experience in all matters of business and property evaluation, she brings a lot to the table.
