Melanie Gamble, ABR, C2EX, CRB, CRS, PSA, SFR, SRS, AHWD, RENE Melanie Gamble is an author, speaker, and industry advocate with over 24 years’ experience assisting financially stressed homeowners in every market. Melanie is a nationally recognized thought leader on the social and financial impact of short sales and foreclosures. In 2023, Melanie was appointed by the Governor to serve on the State Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies, and Home Inspectors, as well as the Governor’s Task Force on Property Appraisal and Valuation Equity. A graduate of both the National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy and Maryland Realtors Leadership Academy, Melanie served as the 2022 President of the Prince George’s County Association of REALTORS®. Currently, Melanie holds the position of President-Elect for Maryland Realtors, President of the Prince George’s County Realtist and RPAC Trustee. Melanie is a two-time graduate of Florida A&M University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Public Administration. During her graduate studies, she became the first woman and youngest Executive Director of the Florida Conference of Black State Legislators. Her efforts during the 1994 legislative session led to the passage of the Rosewood bill, which awarded over three million dollars in reparations to the descendants of Rosewood, FL. As a cancer survivor, Melanie is deeply attuned to the value of life and time, channeling her personal experiences into helping others achieve their dreams of homeownership. She leads a team of dedicated and highly trained Realtors® serving the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia markets, seeing her work not just as a profession but as a personal passion and spiritual mission. A best-selling author, Melanie has penned “Unintended Consequences – The Great Recession’s Impact on Communities of Color” and co-authored “The Big Secret” with Jack Canfield. Beyond her professional achievements, Melanie’s greatest joy is found in her role as mom to her three sons, Julius, Jeremiah, and Jonathan.
