About This Home
Please don't miss out on this unique rental opportunity the view this house has is priceless & peaceful. This quaint partially furnished unique historical home is available conveniently in the early fall August 2026, or maybe a bit earlier. This really is a house that has been loved. It comes with all good juju! This is a 6 Bedroom (2 of which are in basement) 3 Full bath 100 year historical home for rent on the beautiful Boulevard in Logan, UT. Walking distance to downtown, to campus & to walking trails connecting to the Logan Canyon. This house is a vintage gem, it has unique original swing out windows with vintage bubbled glass, the woodworking is original & unpainted, the light fixtures are ornate and vintage. All original wood floors. The kitchen is small but gourmet with high end appliances (European style built in glass refridge) & instant boiling water at the sink, fabulous spice rack shelving. The first floor also has remote control window shades & some rooms have remote control lighting, all Kohler faucets and sinks. The house has updated central air, 2 furnaces and 2 A/C units to easily control the temperature on each floor separately, these units can also be controlled by an app on your phone. There are 2 wall mounted tv's already installed as well as a Jotul wood stove in living room and a whirlpool tub in master bedroom upstairs. There is a fully updated laundry room in basement as well as a large pantry and utility room & 2 more extra rooms (which some could call extra bedrooms or bonus rooms). The backyard is fully fenced in with a mini garage and wood shed & it has 100 year old trees that create a lot of shade in the summer time. The side yard includes 2 old apple trees & a plum tree that most years produce fruit. The gardens are mature & beautiful but will need tending to, as well as lots of leaves to rake & lovely pine cones to pick up. It also has a humidifier & water softener, salt pellets are conventionally provided, you just have to fill the hopper. I am able to create another short term 1 year lease for $2,800 + Utilities a month or a negotiated lower rate for a longer term lease... (2 years) Sorry, no pets and no smoking on property. We require Ist months rent, last month's rent & a full security deposit down upon move in date, as well as a cleaning deposit. I have also attached a link to a comparable house that is closer to campus. We are looking for that right fit, someone that loves old homes. We want to hold true to the integrity of this home. It truly deserves that respect being 100 years old. I'm really hoping to find that person, couple or small family that wants to be here for 2 or more years... or 3 unrelated persons... The house I have left partially furnished with some antiques and I have left lots of original ART & all the household & yard tools it needs to tend to its basic needs... Honda lawn mower & more... Special note: if any of the furnishings do not work or the art they all can be stored in one of the basement rooms or garage. It really is more than just a quaint old home it has a lot of fabulous updates for comfort! We are the third owner, this property does not have a long history as a rental. Out of respect to my current tenant, viewings are by appt only and this only happens further down the line after conversations happen and we find out and understand what you are looking for in a rental. Please PM here and we can start a conversation. I'm super friendly and very open minded to creative ideas, so do not hesitate to ask me questions or propose an idea about the property & its lease terms. On a side note, because I have had a lot of these inquiries... this is not a 4-6 person college rental, this is a personal historical home, this address is not within the Campus Residential Zone. Within city ordinances you can not rent a home to 4 people that are not related so this is not that kind of rental. The complete terms of the lease will be provided for your review upon your request and at the time of signing the lease. General requirements of the lease: 1. This is a 1-year lease. First month, last month & security/cleaning deposit are due at the time of signing or a negotiated 2 year lease. 2. No smoking within the house and within 10 feet of the property. 3. Tenants will switch utilities into their names. 4. Tenants will take care of maintenance of the lawn and plants. Weeding, raking and general care of yard is part of the lease agreement. 6. Tenants will keep city sidewalk in front of the property clean of snow. If needed, a service will be provided and this will be added to the monthly rent. 7. The premises shall not be occupied by any person other than those designated above as TENANT. Any other person staying 14 days cumulative or longer, without the written consent, shall be considered as occupying the premises in violation of this agreement. This house is not part of a large rental company it is a personal home. This is not a Rent to Own situation.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Backyard is sweet, I left yard furnishings, & the trees make a perfect shaded canopy.

Single car garage in backyard best used as storage... but we did park our truck in there for awhile.
