Shingle Creek is the most popular waterfront spot because of the Shingle Creek Regional Park and Trail. This beautiful, expansive trail runs along Shingle Creek and was designated as one of America’s Great Outdoors by former President Obama. Undeveloped land resides on the west side of Gateway, but the area is mostly known for its proximity to amusement parks including Walt Disney World Resort. Resorts may be widespread in the area, but so are rental opportunities.
