The university occupies the northeastern corner of the neighborhood and student housing in this area is plentiful. Renter Beware!

I'd be very careful about renting here. Owner seems nice but can be negligent and irresponsible if serious problems arise. Completely remodeled (or it looks that way cosmetically) - once they finally got their act together and did right by their tenants (really had no choice, essentially). As recent at 2016, mold(documented), lead (documented), roaches (documented), laundry room floods. Really a mess. If you ask around, the neighbors won't tell you (unless you happen to luck up and ask the right one. Unfortunately, I found the ones who said, "Oh no, no roaches..." And that ended up being the least of it.) I'd be very very careful renting from these people. The whole trust fund landlord thing...Again, they're "nice" but, in my experience, ultimately very very irresponsible and negligent.
