About This Property

Fantastic Carriage house for rent in the heart of Lancaster City! The first floor features a large spectacular kitchen with an eat-in dinning space. Other features of the first floor include a washer/ dryer unit and half-bath. The second floor features the living room which has a working gas fireplace. The bedroom and full-bathroom is down the small hallway. The hallway contains lots of closet space. This unit features a carport which easily fits one car and can fit two cars if one is compact. There is a small deck out the living room and a patio outside the kitchen. There is a long backyard which is shared with the two units on Queen Street. This carriage house was used as a speakeasy during the prohibition era. The mural seen in the photos is original circa 1920's and restored in 2009. This unit was gutted and completely redone in 2008/2009. The hardwood floors on the 2nd floor are original and were refinished during the '08/'09 remodel. HVAC was installed during this time and the unit comes with electric Heat and Air-Conditioning. Owner pays for water, trash, and sewage. Tenant pays for electric, cable/internet, and gas (for gas stove and fireplace). First month's rent and security deposit equal to one month's rent due at time of signing. 12 month Contract up front, and then month-to-month after that. Dogs or cats are welcome but will be subject to a $50 per month fee. There is no application fee. Situated in the the heart of Lancaster city with free parking, this beautiful unit is ready for its new occupant!
