Located about five miles northeast of Downtown Tallahassee, Killearn includes Lake Killarney and is made up of several subdivisions, including Killearn Estates and Killearn Acres. As the first planned community in Tallahassee Killearn was formed in 1964, when it was purchased by developers. Before that, the area was a large dairy farm. The Alfred B.
