Monona Bait Shop and Babcock Ice Cream store are also right across the street. Century old full log cabin has an open concept area between the kitchen, dining, and living space. Bedrooms and bath are off the back of the house in a newer addition. Includes central air conditioning, washer and dryer, and wood burning fireplace stove. Off street parking with space for two vehicles plus an outdoor storage shed. Spiral staircase leads up to the 3rd bedroom/office and an additional large bonus room/storage space. The upstairs ceilings are angled and somewhat lower at the knee walls on the second story, so the square footage has been conservatively estimated at 1380 square feet (actual SF is higher). Friendly dogs will be considered if they come with references. The east side of the house has a fenced gravel dog run off of the wooden deck. Water, Sewer, and municipal services included in rent. Tenant must establish an account with Madison Gas and Electric for heat and electricity. MGE bills average ~$200 per month if paying on the budget plan (more or less depending on use of the programmable thermostat and how much the occupant uses winter heat and summer AC). House is wired with fiber for high speed Internet. Tenant may contact TDS to set up a separate account and select a service/payment plan of their choice. Lawn care and groundskeeping provided, shoveling is not. $50 credit and background check fee and authorization required with rental application. One month rent for security deposit required at signing of the lease. First month rent due upon property inspection check-in and receipt of the keys. Available for occupancy starting 08/01/24.
