It is across the street from university property and just down the hill from the W.T. Young Library. The Apt. is a Studio that is approx. 410 S.F. It has one x-large room with 2 double closets, a full eat-in kitchen and a bathroom. Most residents have enough room to set up a full bed, dresser, desk and a living area with a couch, TV, etc. The flooring is plush carpet in the main area and either linoleum or ceramic tile in the kitchen & bathroom. There are 8 units per building and 2 buildings on the site that are Studios. The units are painted as needed and thoroughly cleaned between residents. We do not allow smoking inside or pets. Heating and A/C is by a through-the wall unit like in many motels. One parking space is included (sticker is $25/year) per Apt. in the large paved and well lighted parking lot. These units are not perfect but they are nice, clean and kept in good repair. New Carpet, New tile and bathroom renovations Summer 2019 along with NEW WINDOWS INSTALLED AUGUST 1ST, 2015. They are ideal for a conservative individual or couple who desire to live effectively on the UK campus.   For the safety and security of all residents we have established a policy that you must be either a student, or faculty or staff member at UK with a need to be close to the university to be able to reside in these units.
