Except for one year when I moved to the beach for one year, I’ve been very happy here for 11 years, and I hope to stay here for many more. I’ve lived in 3 different apts as my circumstances have changed and I‘ve loved each one! The apts are bright & sunny with big windows flanked by trees &greenery, the buildings are beautiful, the amenities are great ( wonderful pool, gym, tennis courts, outdoor grill, a common room used for special events, appliances continue to function very well, an on-site police person here all night - it’s a very pretty place to live! And the neighborhood is WONDERFUL! Nearby grocery stores, restaurants, clothing & specialty stores, a new medical center across the street, near I-77, Trenholm Plaza - -everything is so convenient and easily accessible! I’ve loved it here!!!!

5000 Forest has become a perfect sanctuary for me. The complex is quiet, clean and located in such a fantastic area. Perfectly convenient to I-77 and within walking distance of many wonderful shops and restaurants!

When I made the decision to move from Maryland to Columbia, SC the most important decision that I had to make is where I was going to live. I visited about 4 properties before I got to 42 Magnolia 5000 Forest. After I toured the property, I knew that I wanted to call this place home! I moved into my unit on June 7th and it's been wonderful! The leasing staff made the process seamless from beginning to end. Tyra, specifically, was extremely helpful with all of my questions and concerns. The property is always well maintained, the residents are pleasant, and the location is convenient to shopping needs, downtown Columbia, restaurants, and the highway! I made the BEST choice!

I’ve lived at 42 Magnolia for over 12 years, with the exception of one year when I relocated to Hilton Head Island, after which I couldn’t wait to return to this apartment complex. As my lifestyle changed I moved into four other apartments in this complex and I intend to stay in my current unit as long as I can. Over the years the staff has changed but the excellent service remains the same. The units here are all very attractive: Nicely laid out, large sunny windows with views of the landscaping , attractive features (counter tops, rugs), wonderful amenities (pool,gym, tennis courts, large clubhouse, it’s simply a very attractive place to walk through & meet others. We’re very close (within walking distance) to Trenholm Plaza with a Fresh Market, Publix, Pancake House, Home Goods store, Post Office, and restaurants; further down the street there’s a Trader Joe’s, Lowe’s Groceries, drugstores and several banks; there are upscale elite shops nearby, fancy restaurants ethnic restaurants & take-out drive-through; and in another direction (still within walking distance) there’s a large outdoor mall with Walmart and Sam’s Club, boutiques, sporting goods stores, diverse restaurants, gas stations, and a nearby residential motel. Our complex is near I-77, several miles from the Univ. of South Carolina and the downtown Vista area with an Art Musrum, art galleries, theaters - - all within a short drive. In other words, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!

I love living here! This is a very vibrant & growing neighborhood along Forest Dr. in Forest Acres, about 2-3 minutes from access to I-77 and 8-10 min. from downtown. Excellent amenities include free pool &, gym & tennis courts and community get togethers in large common room. Great place to live!

The old property with poorly maintained units but at great location, which is the only +. Frequent plumber problems, leaking, old outdated appliances, etc. And of course, you will be charged for everything once when you leave. No wear and tear is calculated, even after several years spend there. Things particularly deteriorated since the ownership changed in the summer 2022 and new management took over with rude and rather incompetent staff. Renewal rents went up 50%, way above projected inflation and it is obvious that many leases haven't been renewed.
