Look for the hidden food carts down the alleys on Division St. A bit further north on Hawthorne there are consignment & book shops, music venues and the Bagdad Theater & Pub. Our Roost guest book offers basics, transit and month-by-month happenings so you can discover Portland and its many distinct neighborhood goings-on. For necessities, there's Fred Meyer on Hawthorne, Natural Grocers organics and Safeway is just 3 blocks south. All this yet the home is far enough away to be peaceful. Walk onto 43rd past St. Ignatius private forest retreat. Exhale. The house is mid-century, and the home is furnished with many fresh, new comfy pieces.There's a HEPA-13 air purifiers for your use and comfort. (These are quiet 3-stage units with activated carbon filters, and we have the home deep-cleaned between all guests. that happens July 11th.) We accept one well-behaved small pooch and will ask a $250 refundable pet fee. No cats or other critters please. The kitchen has what you need. There's even a waffle iron and popped-corn popper for movie watching! There's 800Mbs to the house for remote work and movies. The main bedroom has a King-sized Purple brand mattress.- so important! The second bedroom has a wall of closet storage with cedar shelves and a new queen sofa bed. So use it for favorite projects, yoga, or a good read and still have the second bed option. Enjoy!
