Yes, the building has an elevator, which is dependable, though it is one of the oldest in the city. The rental price includes almost everything: A gas range, frost-free refrigerator, air conditioning and heat in the appropriate seasons, and all utilities except telecommunications. The apartment overlooks the Central West End, with an excellent view of the Cathedral Basilica. There's both a large closet and a separate dressing room in the apartment. The building has a newly updated laundry room available for residents in its basement. Off-street parking is available for an additional fee. However, you may not need a car to live here. The location is one of the most walkable in the city. At this corner are two bus lines, each with direct connection to Metrolink, the city's regional rail line. Shopping and services are convenient and abundant. Restaurants, coffee houses, entertainment, shopping, pharmacies, and a 24-hour full-service supermarket are all within walking distance. This is a bicycle-friendly apartment building. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. If you do not have your own renter's insurance policy, there is an additional fee of $9.50 per month for "Tenant Liability Insurance." Such insurance covers accidental damages to the apartment and the building, but not to personal possessions.
