The apartment is in historic Dayton, Nevada, on a property that features the oldest home in Nevada, built in 1854. For over 50 years, this property has served as an animal sanctuary, maintained by the landlords, who care for various rescued animals, including horses, a burro, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, cats, and dogs. In 2009, they were honored by the American Red Cross, Northern Nevada Chapter, as Animal Rescue Heroes, receiving proclamations from the U.S. Congress and the Nevada Governor's office. They founded a non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary in 1999, known as The Judy Project.
This luxury motorhome was custom-built to our specifications. Measuring 32 ft x 8 ft, it features solid oak cabinetry, a new butcher block kitchen counter, a new kitchen sink and faucet, a new refrigerator, and a freezer. It also includes a microvan, convection oven, hot plate, new pots, pans, dishes, glassware, a kitchen table, and two upholstered swivel chairs. The living room features two reclining captain’s chairs, a sofa that pulls out into a guest bed, and another swivel chair with a table and bookcase next to it. A flat-screen TV with ROKU enabled and multiple windows look out onto the beautiful green valley along the Carson River. The bathroom includes a new large shower, toilet, faucet, spacious closet, and dresser drawers. Two doors separate the bathroom from the living room and bedroom. The bedroom features a queen-size bed with counter space on each side and drawers for storage, furnished with new sheets, pillowcases, and a comforter. There are three large windows with new window blinds and reading lamps on each side of the bed. The flooring throughout is a wood-style floor that complements the oak cabinets. Parking for up to two vehicles is available in front of the motorhome. Water, sewer, electricity, WI-Fi, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a fire extinguisher are included.
