About This Home

23 Month Lease, $995 deposit, Available Sep 1

$995/month + $50 flat rate for hydro. Unit has window air conditioner professionally installed in the small window (not the one pictured here). Kitchen comes with hot plate, oven/air fryer, microwave, and small fridge (not pictured but there is a cabinet with a counter where these are all stored). There's a large porch with patio furniture, the street is blocked by trees so it's private and quiet. Laundry is just upstairs, machines are free and work great. Small building, only 3 other tenants, everyone's super welcoming and connect through a tenant whatsapp group. You can't hear other tenants talking (though you can hear creaks), and even the street is pretty quiet. The unit itself has beautiful details like wood trim and moulding, a stained glass window, and a large decorative fireplace with a mantle. For accessibility: the building does have a small winding cobblestone pathway and a small set of stairs, there's also a little lip to enter the apartment, and laundry is up a flight of stairs as well. 2 minute walk from Queen Street, so super close to the 501, and the 47 Lansdowne bus stop is also 2 minutes away. For those who are familiar with Parkdale, you already know what an incredibly diverse neighbourhood it is--tons of great restaurants, affordable groceries, super close access to the water and Sunnyside beach, just such a cool neighbourhood.

City - Toronto

Serving up equal portions of charm and sophistication, Toronto’s tree-filled neighbourhoods give way to quaint shops and restaurants in historic buildings, some of the tallest skyscrapers in Canada, and a dazzling waterfront lined with yacht clubs and sandy beaches.

During the summer, residents enjoy cycling the Waterfront Bike Trail or spending afternoons at Balmy Beach Park. Commuting in the city is a breeze thanks to Toronto’s underground walkway system known as the PATH, which spans more than 30 kilometres and connects shops, restaurants, subway stations, and major attractions.

You’ll have a wide selection of neighbourhoods to choose from when renting in Toronto, from condo-filled Liberty Village to the green spaces of High Park North and the creative energy of West Queen West. From Kensington Market to the Entertainment District and Harbourfront Centre, the city offers endless ways to explore.
