All Inclusive Day Avenue Co-Living Come live near downtown Northampton in a social living environment within a charming old (yet newly insulated!) late Victorian house, all souped up for co-living! The house has 4 (unfurnished*) bedrooms, a community room, a flex room, a new kitchen, and nice front porch. Walk/bike to Downtown - One block from major bus stop – One block to the Bike Path (super close to the pedestrian bridge over the Connecticut River...) Home features a brand new and equipped kitchen with white shaker-style cabinets, stainless steel Energy Star appliances, black granite countertops and an eat-in peninsula, as well as a newly renovated bathroom. (An additional new bathroom is being added as well, completion date TBD). Furnished common living/dining room and flex room. This well-maintained home has lots of nice original and added details, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a nice front porch and front yard area (that tenants can use and garden in if they wish). Recently refinished upstairs hardwood floors, newly painted walls, trim and doors, new upstairs stacked washer/dryer, and basement storage for each tenant. Rent is All Inclusive – Includes internet (300 mpbs), heat and water, as well as laundry, trash, recycling and compost collection (by the Pedal People!), snow removal and yard care and cleaning of common areas. 6-Month Lease, then 2-Month Leases. However, other / flexible lease terms may be considered – Please inquire if interested. The Location: The location is ideal for accessing everything, including downtown, the bike path, the highway, and the Route 9 bus routes. Conveniently located less than a block from the Route 9 bus stop at Sheldon Field Park, on the B43 and many other bus routes. One block from the bike path. Short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the Connecticut River. 7 minute walk to the start of downtown Northampton, 20 minute walk to Smith College. The Details: The all-inclusive rent is $1,650 per month. A $200/month credit is offered to tenants who are interested in wiping kitchen and bathroom surfaces with a sanitizer twice a week (note: all kitchen and bathroom surfaces are cleaned daily) – ask for details if interested. Social and cooperative living are strongly encouraged. A Living Agreement between tenants outlines shared rules, responsibilities and expectations among residents. Each individual room has its own lock, and you can select your entry code (which will also be your house entry code). A small dog may be considered. More Details (i.e. The Fine Print): The back unit of this house, as well as the backlot, is presently under construction. The new houses at the back will be completed over the next several months. Therefore, at this time, only street parking is available, and bicycles may be stored on the covered front porch, the basement or other designated areas. Once the site construction is complete, parking spaces will be available for rent, and additional bicycle parking will be available. The unit is presently being turned over (bathroom renovation, etc.) and furnished, but a virtual walk-through is available (contact us) and an in-person walk through can be scheduled toward the end of March. Rooms available starting May 1st. Individual rooms are unfurnished, but if interested we can discuss providing a bed frame (with headboard) as well as a dresser. Please note that the pictures aren’t quite up to date. They will be replaced shortly with a better set. (The living room wallpaper is being removed, and the walls will be painted.)
