About This Property

Charming Furnished 1 Bedroom/ 1 Bath Pet-Friendly Garden Level Unit *Utilities Included* This adorable 1 bedroom / 1 bath is located on a quiet street in the heart of Berkeley just a few blocks from Tennyson St. and 38th Ave. It is fully furnished with all modern appliances, central air, smart lighting and locks, brand-new flooring, and all linens provided. Enjoy runs around Rocky Mountain National Park, Berkeley, and Sloan's Lake. A short bike from Downtown, and a quick drive over to Boulder or Golden for a mountain run after work. Stroll down Tennyson and grab a drink at Tartarian or a bite to eat at Vital Roots, Mazevo, Voghera, Hops & Pie, Denver Biscuit Company, Call Your Mother, American Elm, The Pasty Republic, Swing Thai, and so many more. Take your dog for a walk to Cesar Chavez Park or enjoy the Farmer's Market down the street each weekend. This is a newly renovated garden level unit which is accessed through a separate back entrance with a customizable smart lock. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a well-lit breakfast nook with a marble table and sage velvet chairs, and a laundry area with a stacked washer/dryer. The efficiency kitchen has a brand-new fridge, electric induction stovetop, sink, shelving, a keurig, an air fryer, microwave, and InstaPot. Just off the kitchen is the main bedroom and living room which has a queen sized custom maple wood murphy bed (all linens can be provided upon request), a cozy Albany Park faux leather couch, a vanity desk, hanging closet, mounted flat screen tv with Roku, coffee table, local artwork, and Colorado literature. The enormous tiled bathroom is just steps away, with a shower and bathtub, full sized vanity and ample shelving. There is also a 60-square foot unfinished storage closet with space to hang additional things, and rudimentary shelving for storage. Your main entrance has a doggy door with access to the beautiful fenced backyard. The backyard has several gardens, a patio area, lounge chairs, outdoor heater, fire pit, and motion-activated lighting throughout for additional safety. It is an ideal spot for enjoying cool evenings and quiet afternoons. There is always plenty of street parking right outside of the home, I have never had any issue finding a spot. I am a 40-year-old professional living in the upstairs unit with my dog Lucy. Lucy is well-trained and very friendly. She loves new people and new dogs. On most weekdays I work from home, and for obvious reasons cannot share this property with a particularly vocal pet. (I'm sorry, I wish that this was not a hard and fast rule, but it has to be.) Additionally, the washer and dryer is technically shared, but I will arrange a schedule with you ahead of time so that I am only in this space when you are not using it. This is my home, and I take great pride in keeping it clean, and in being a great neighbor. I am looking for a kind, quiet, and considerate person who would get along with the neighbors and wouldn't mind some extra attention from Lucy now and again.

Neighborhood

Located only five miles away from bustling downtown Denver, Berkeley is a park-like, quirky, and eclectic neighborhood. Known for its two dazzling lakes, Berkeley Lake and Rocky Mountain Lake, this neighborhood combines old homes with renovated buildings, modern townhomes, row houses, old-school bungalows, and Tudor style homes. The two lakes in the community are great for getting some fresh air with great playgrounds, picnic spots, and walking trails.

Berkeley is also known across the Mile High City for Tennyson Street cultural district. As one of the most popular retail and dining destinations in the city, this long urban corridor is filled with stylish boutiques, quirky book stores, cozy coffee shops, and charming bars with live music, modern restaurants, and inspiring art galleries. Sip coffee at the Denver Cat Company, a cat-themed café where you can adopt a new feline friend, or purchase a gift at the Tesoro Artisan Gallery.
