Named after its namesake green space, Broadmeadow Brook is a beautiful, wooded neighborhood located about three miles southeast of Downtown Worcester. Broadmeadow Brook Conservation is the largest urban conservation and wildlife sanctuary in New England. The conservation combined with other parks and green space makes Broadmeadow Brook a great spot for renters who enjoy bird watching, hiking, and other outdoor hobbies. Many homes are situated around the sanctuary or other forested areas. The neighborhood offers a variety of mid-range to upscale apartments and townhomes, along with single-family houses in various styles including cottages and colonials. Although Broadmeadow Brook is verdant and feels secluded, there are several stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. For even more options, residents can hop onto Interstate 90, U.S. Highway 122A, or U.S. Route 20.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Redwood Hills
Vastly overpriced for this aging complex. Basic greige flooring over major soft spots, stairs that sink almost down to the next one when you step on them, a weak spot running down the center of the tub so you take showers with one foot braced on either side, somehow even worse hard water than the rest of the city, inconvenient parking policies along with nickel and diming fees. Not to mention fewer amenities than any other complex, ONE washer and dryer per section that's $5 per load, a constantly overfilled dumpster (again, one small one per building), virtually no storage/shelves, and constant scolding memos from management posted in lobbies. Only upside is they allow small dogs, probably because the place is too shabby to worry about anyway.
Sure it looks nice from the outside. Then you move in. The cost of rent goes up every year (i was there 4.5 years so I know this happens) and it goes uo $100 to $150 each time! I lived in 2 separate appartments one in 380 Sunderland rd and one in the main building where the office is and both times we had the following problems: a lot of leaks, flooding so bad my carpet had to be replaced 2 times and it took 2 month for that to happen therefore I was living in mold filled apartment. There was a leak coming from the upstairs apartment so bad over my dining room table and computer got destroyed. The neighbors had left the window opened multiple times while it rained. the stain this leak left on my ceiling wad 5 feet 4inches by 3 feet in size. it was NEVER FIXED (at least not for the last whole year i lived at this crap hole). There were bugs, so many bugs! the 1st apartment was a ground floor apartment which was actually about 4 feet underground because the window was flush with the lawn. I was killing 7 or 8 spiders a day in that apartment. some of them were daddy longlegs but mostly these huge back jumping spiders that made clicking sounds when they were jumping at us. Once I was on a ladder changing a curtain when I saw a brown recluse (not a good spider to have around google it!)on my curtain . There were cockroaches in both apartments . disgusting! The management NEVER helped with this. They make it very hard to get your credit score up so you can move out or so you can save up money when every year they up your monthly rent 100 to 150$. There is so much more but I don't have a life time to relive this nighmare of a place.
7 G about this appartments: 1. good location: a lot of different shops nearest appartments 2. good environment: forest, pond, wild animals (don't afreid, they are small) 3. good for children: playground and pool 4. good neighbors 5. quiet, clean, pleasant place 6. responsive maintance 7. good price!
