Spacious living room with sofa and lounge chair and flatscreen tv. Cozy private bedroom with queen bed and work area with desk and roller chair. Laundry room with washer /dryer. Includes all new bedding and towels. The backyard is lovingly landscaped to give visitors a feel of a secret garden with wildflowers and patio with dining area. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the retreat-this is shared with the studio apartment and there are multiple sitting areas. Vicinity The property is bordered by Interstate 580 and Highway 13 and is uniquely located, with respect to the San Francisco Bay Area. Oakland is centrally located in the East Bay. Your drive to downtown San Francisco is just 20 minutes (without traffic) or if you prefer a scenic view of the San Francisco skyline take the ferry from Jack London Square to the historical Ferry Building or Pier 39. Guest access You have a private entrance in front of the house and parking for one car in driveway. One family member lives in the studio apartment in shared backyard, with access down driveway side of house. Other things to note Dining in Oakland offers you an incredible choice of a broad array of cuisines, breweries, night clubs, and lounges of all genres. We have two national registered historic theaters, the Paramount and the Fox, and the largest telescope on the west coast open to the public at the Chabot Space and Science Center, just a 10 minute drive. Also 5 minute drive to Northeastern University (formerly Mills College) and 20 minute drive to UC Berkeley.
