About This Property
Update 4/15/2021: Price is being reduced to $1400/mo, this price is only valid until the end of my current open lease (July 30th so ~4.5 months). I need to rent this place out this week. If you want to stay past July 30th then you’ll have to work that part out with the homeowner and the price would likely jump back up to it’s actual price of $1650/mo. Very safe neighborhood, strong internet, new housing community located in Newark. Just far enough away from the city, yet just close enough. House has both air conditioning and heat - it's rare to find air conditioning in Newark so if you're looking in the area be sure to double-check on that with summer coming soon. This is an in-law suite built into a house, however there is a sealed connection and no shared living space. The bedroom comes with a bed and has a double sliding door closet with plenty of space. Attached to the bedroom is a bathroom with a stand-up shower. The living room comes with standard appliances for an in-law suite: a large mini-fridge with a separate freezer, microwave, and plug-in stovetop for cooking. The computer, desk, and couch are not included - however, if the couch doesn't sell by the time you move in, then you can keep it if you want it. The ceiling is another great feature, all of the doors are 8' tall so it's easy to move stuff in and out and the ceiling is 9' making the overall apartment feel very open and spacious. There is a completely private entrance, which includes outside storage or a sitting area that is covered by privacy fencing. Free street parking is included. Free use of washer and dryer for laundry once per week by walking over to the homeowner's side of the house. Utilities are extra and are calculated by the homeowners for a fair split to cover the utility usage each month. The homeowners are a young family husband, wife, and daughter, and very easy to get along with. The current tenant is able to move at any time. Two people, for example a couple, are welcome to share the suite at the same cost. The lease is open from now until July 30th 2021, and it could be renewed yearly at that point. Please message with any questions or message to schedule a tour.
