City - Oviedo

Located on Orlando's northeast side, Oviedo is directly north of the University of Central Florida, a large research university, and Central Florida Research Park. It is also home to Seminole State College-Oviedo Campus. You may even see a "chicken crossing" sign or two as you make your way through the city. Oviedo's Chickens date back to 1875, when settlers first arrived to grow crops and raise livestock.
