We are looking for tenants to rent our apartment while we're away from San Francisco. We'd prefer tenants who will be here for at least 6 months. We are renting the apartment furnished. The location is amazing - on a quiet street but one block from the heart of the Lower Haight, and easy walking distance to Duboce Park, the Mission, Hayes Valley, the Castro, the Haight, and Lower Pac Heights. We're 1.5 blocks from the nearest Muni metro station - you can be downtown in 15-20 min. The apartment is great too: top-floor unit with lots of light, with windows in all rooms but none facing the street (so it's very quiet). Decor is modern/contemporary. There's a deck adjoining the living room that gets sunlight ~10am-2pm every day. There is no parking available with the apartment, but if you work in SF, you won't need a car. There is room for storing two bikes. The apartment has all the usual conveniences plus a few luxuries - wi-fi, wall heater for the winter, full kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker, bathtub with shower and heated Japanese toilet seat in the bathroom, plus big closets in both bedrooms. There's laundry (two washers and two dryers) for the free use of everyone in the building. We can include towels and bed linens if you need them. We can negotiate if you'd like utilities included or if you'd prefer to take over utilities in your own name (for showing local residency). We can include cleaning service once a month in the rent if you'd like, for an additional fee. We live in a 6-unit close-knit building, so one of our most important criteria is finding someone who will be considerate not just of our apartment but of our neighbors. It's a non-smoking unit and building, and we won't allow pets. Several of our neighbors have children, so we ask that our tenants be quiet in the evenings - this is not a party house!
