About This Home
Feel at home in this unique flat on the second floor of a vintage walk-up building. Please note that this apartment may not be the best fit if climbing stairs will be an issue. This unique flat includes all the comforts of home while embracing the quirky charm that only a vintage building can offer. During your stay as my guest, you receive a free membership to The Metropolitan, a members-only club and co-working space located on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower (for reservations less than 14 days only). Included with your membership are upscale co-working space, dining, bars, and stunning views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. Parking isn't included and the streets around are all either permitted (local residents only) or metered, so make sure not to use those spots. For the easiest parking, we highly recommend using a service to reserve a spot nearby before you arrive. Be sure to check all signs nearby because it's easy to get a ticket when parking rules are broken. The location literally can't be beat, with the apartment a short walk from Wrigley Field, the bustling Southport shopping corridor, and both the red line and brown line subway stations. It's also close to all of the 'Boystown' nightlife. Although shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. Any point of interest in Chicago can easily be reached by walking, public transit, or Uber. A few local highlights include Wrigley Field & Wrigleyville (4-min walk), Southport Corridor (5-min walk), Music Box Theater (10-min walk), Metro Theatre (6-min walk), Boystown (13-min walk or 5 min via public transit), Lakefront Trail & Belmont Harbor (8 min via public transit or driving), Lincoln Park Zoo (20 min via public transit or 12-min drive), and Downtown (20 min via public transit or 16-min drive). Transportation options include Southport 'L' train stop (Brown line) (8-min walk), Addison 'L' train stop (Red/Brown lines) (7-min walk), O'Hare (50 min via public transit or ~35 min drive), and Midway (65 min via public transit or ~45 min drive). There is no smoking of any kind in the apartment, and your reservation will be automatically and immediately cancelled if there is any smoking reported. There will also be an automatic $500 cleaning fee if there is any smoke smell inside of the apartment. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. There is an automatic $100 late check-out charge if you're still in the property 20 minutes after check-out. There is a $45 fee if you lock yourself out or lose your key. USPS mail deliveries are not allowed during your stay. We must charge a $35 admin fee to return lost items because of the time, effort, and coordination between multiple team members the process takes. Shipping costs are an additional charge should they need to be shipped to you. [SI]

If you love baseball — particularly if you love the Chicago Cubs — there's only one neighborhood for you: Lakeview! Bordering Lake Michigan on the north side of Chicago directly above Lincoln Park, Lakeview houses one of Chicago’s most popular destinations: Wrigley Field. Originally built in 1914 for Federal League’s Chicago Whales, Wrigley Field is one the oldest still-operating stadiums in the MLB. It was renamed Wrigley Field in 1926 by then-owner William Wrigley Jr., a chewing gum manufacturer.
Of course, there's more to Lakeview than baseball. From the luxury high-rise apartments along Lake Shore Drive to the tree-filled streets and single-family homes in Graceland West, there's something for everyone in Lakeview. This large neighborhood consists of several smaller enclaves, including Wrigleyville, Boystown, and North Halsted. Lakeview features several theaters, such as the Music Box Theater and the Playground Theater, as well as music venues and shops.
