Great home on an amazing block of Roscoe Village. Four bedroom, 2 bath, 2-story home with an enclosed porch, small back deck for a cafe deck, huge backyard with pavers for outdoor dining/grilling, and a raised garden bed. Under the house is a cellar for storage and where the lawn maintenance stuff is kept. In the back of the yard is a parking pad that fits two cars, but we never have trouble finding parking on the street right in front, anyway. Downstairs has a roomy living room, a dining room large enough for a 6 person dining table (and a bar cart, etc), and a very functional kitchen. Off the kitchen is a full bath (shower, tub, toilet), a huge pantry, and access to the washer/dryer (can be used as a utility room as well). Also on the first floor are two small bedrooms with closets, appropriate for children, home office, or a tight guest room (we have a queen sized bed in one and use the other as a storage/craft room). Up the stairs and to your left is a large bedroom with walk in closet. We use it as our master, but past tenants have used it as a second bedroom or guest room. To the right is a very large room with a full bath (separated by a heavy curtain), and a giant walk in that honestly could almost be a nursery. We use it as a second den and office, but past tenants have used this as the master. We have been very happy here and love all of the neighbors on the block. In non-covid times there are plenty of block parties and just general neighborly-ness. We are only considering moving because we are expecting our first child and moving back to the east coast to be closer to family. Considering our move during the holiday season, so mid December to mid January move in for you would be ideal! Our lease is up at the end of June 2020, but a longer term is also possible.
