About This Property
First floor fully renovated inside and out 1200 sf apartment in a beautiful grey stone 2 flat on a quiet tree lined street. There are 2 other units in the building and everyone is very chill and low key. Right down the street from the 606 trail and scofflaw, parsons, giant, best intentions, ground control, etc. Humboldt park is steps away. This is a great location! You are so close to great restaurants/bars, nature, trails, and the block is very friendly. This is a very stylish and solid renovation completed a couple years ago. Both bedrooms have large closets. The largest bedroom fits a king bed with room to spare. The bathroom has seafoam green custom mosaic tiles and a restored vintage matching sink. There are built in cabinets for storage throughout. Lots of windows and natural light flows into every room. There are 2 dining rooms and one large living room. The dining room at the kitchen area has a custom tv wall with storage and built in coat hooks that will remain in place for the new tenant(s). The owner just moved out of this apartment into a different building a couple blocks down the street. He is very fast to respond to anything and has a couple vegetable gardens he tends to regularly in the back yard. The kitchen has dishwasher, garbage disposal, high end stove, french door refrigerator with water dispenser, powerful hood/venting, quartz counters, custom tile backsplash. Building has forced air heating and AC. All windows and doors are new. The back yard is epic and you won't see anything like it in the city (at least not very often). If you enjoy being outside this is where you want to live. It's tranquil and feels like you're out in the country. Feel free to use the fire pit and grill. The garage could be added to the lease - currently it is being used for storage. Some of the furniture could be left in place if the new tenant desires. Such as brasilia display cabinet, drafting table, wall mounted tv, wall shelves, hanging plants, etc. The laundry is in the basement. There is lots of storage space in the basement as well. There is also a tool bench full of tools. Built in bike storage is under the deck and inside the basement. Lease starts August 1st and is 1 year.

The Humboldt Park neighborhood is seven miles out from Chicago’s Grant Park, The Chicago Theatre, and the Navy Pier. The park by which its name derived from has more than 200 acres within it, and includes the Field House, large grassy lawns, and nature trails surrounded by lush landscaping.
From eclectic coffee shops and home design stores to ethnic cuisines – Humboldt Park has it all! You’ll find cool, retro diners, rustic steakhouses, plus numerous cafes serving Puerto Rico-inspired fare! There’s also a burgeoning bar scene along North California Avenue.
Residents of Humboldt Park adore its many annual events and festivals which display its pride and heritage. Paseo Boricua, along Division Street, is recognized for its Puerto Rican influences – you know you’re there when you see its two large steel flags arched over the roadway. Residents enjoy direct access to Interstate 90 as well as the short transit ride to Randolph Street Market.
