The large living room has a sofa, multiple seating areas, and a smart TV where you can log in to your own streaming accounts. There’s also an HDMI hook-up for your laptop. The primary bedroom is luxurious, with its one-of-a-kind, antique gold bed with an incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress and soft, breathable Comphy sheets. The guest bedroom has two full-size beds, each with a memory foam mattress. The bathroom is spacious and spa-like with built-in cabinets for plenty of storage and an updated shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality pots, pans, and accessories, a dishwasher, a kitchen dining area with seating for 6, and a formal dining room with seating for 14. Enjoy coffee and tea with the French press coffee maker, burr grinder, electric kettle, locally roasted whole bean coffee, and assorted teas and cocoa. For entertainment, there is fast Wi-Fi, a Roku TV where you can use your personal accounts to stream whatever you enjoy, books and games, and foosball (in shared laundry room). The apartment also includes a private washer and dryer and shared laundry in the building, free to use with detergent included, and an iron and ironing board. Outdoor areas are shared with other guests (there are 4 other apartments in the building) and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, including a gas barbecue, hammocks, fire pit, outdoor dining room with seating for 10, corn hole, covered front porch with sectional sofa, swings, native gardens and fountains. Dogs are allowed, please include as pets in guest count. Eden Brae is on Cliff Road, between the popular neighborhoods of Forest Park and Highland Park. Just a few blocks away, you will find parks, restaurants, coffee, golf, and tennis! Highland Park Golf and Tennis Club is just a block away. Rushton Park, one of the three parks lining Highland Avenue, is just a couple of blocks away. On the other side of Highland Park Golf Course, you will find Forest Park, which is home to a couple of cute restaurants and shops. Walk a few blocks further to enjoy the beautiful park, brewery, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores in Avondale. Eden Brae is just a couple of miles from most of Birmingham's most popular attractions: Railroad Park, the Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Avondale, Sloss Furnace, the Art Museum, Regions Field, Vulcan Park, and Downtown's Entertainment and Civil Rights Districts. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am. A $500 smoke remediation fee will be assessed if you or any members of your group violate the no smoking or vaping policy. If you bring a pet without notifying us or in violation of this policy, you may be subject to a $250 penalty per pet, in addition to the applicable pet fees. [SI]

Neighborhood

One of Alabama’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods, Highland Park, is also one of its prettiest. Highland Park features hilly, wooded streets lined with a diverse collection of architecture that includes historic mansions, office towers, and apartment buildings.
