The mansion, named Eden Brae, was built in 1910, and is situated on Cliff Road, one of the most desirable and walkable residential streets in the city of Birmingham. It has five separate apartments, each with its own private entrance. Professionally cleaned and fully stocked with local coffee, teas, and organic toiletries, this apartment features a bedroom with a king-size memory foam bed and a TV. The bathroom is stocked with small-batch, organic toiletries and plush towels. The kitchenette is stocked for quick food prep and includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and convection toaster oven. There is a dining bar with seating for two. Enjoy fast Wi-Fi, a Roku TV, and a shared laundry room with a washer and dryer, detergent included, and an iron and ironing board. Outdoor areas are shared with other guests and include a gas barbecue, hammocks, a fire pit, an outdoor dining room with seating for 10, corn hole, a covered front porch with a sectional sofa, swings, native gardens, and fountains. Dogs are allowed. Eden Brae is just a couple of miles from most of Birmingham's most popular attractions: Railroad Park, the Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Avondale, Sloss Furnace, the Art Museum, Regions Field, Vulcan Park, and Downtown's Entertainment and Civil Rights Districts. All are easily accessible by bike or by car/Lyft/Uber. Just a few blocks away, you will find parks, restaurants, coffee, golf, and tennis. Highland Park Golf and Tennis Club is just a block away. Rushton Park, one of the three parks lining Highland Avenue, is just a couple of blocks away. Just outside the park, you will find a few popular local eateries. In the mood for a coffee or pastries, try O'Henry's. Or, stroll next door to Rojo, a popular Mexican restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Events and gatherings are not allowed in single apartments; to host an event, inquire about renting the whole house. Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am. A $200/night penalty will be incurred for any violation of the no smoking or vaping policy. If you bring a pet without notifying us or in violation of this policy, you may be subject to a $250 penalty per pet, in addition to the applicable pet fees. Guests who do not adhere to the quiet hours policy may be asked to leave, without a refund, forfeiting any remaining nights on their reservation.
