The dishwasher is built in style and has lots of cool features. The refrigerator is really slick and has an ice maker. The bathroom has a deep soaking tub and is very cool looking with all black metal trim contrasting against warm whites and beige tones. There is a large vanity with a natural 'taj majal' natural quartzite counter and lots of drawers for storage. No details went unnoticed and the space is used very efficiently with a built in wall cabinet, custom shelf in the shower, and neat clothes/towel hooks. There is also a large frosted window that brings in eastern morning light. There is a large dining room in the front of the building and a huge living room in the middle. Power is located high on the wall for your wall mount tv (no cords dangling around). Floors are luxury white washed plank with bright white tall base boards. The original woodwork has been restored and painted to match the new doors and trim throughout. This unit has its own entry foyer with gold chandelier and lots of room for shoes, coats, etc. Furnace and electrical panel are within the unit. Laundry is free and is in a public utility area in the lower level. Garage space is available for additional $100/month. It is shared with the top floor tenant who doesn't use it very much. The front yard is wonderfully landscaped which makes for a great outdoor environment to relax and get to know the neighbors. The street is super friendly and you are right next to the park. You can see the park from the front porch. The 606 Bloomingdale trail is just a few blocks to the north up Kedzie. This is a great time to find an affordable yet distinguished and spacious place to live where you can appreciate your surroundings and be so close to the city's biggest most naturally beautiful park. It is a great place for jogging, walks, picnics, sledding on the hill in the winter, fishing, birding, whatever strikes your fancy. Garfield park (and the conservatory) is beautiful too and is just a few blocks to the south. Divvy stations are everywhere so it's easy to get to a train station (logan square or wicker park blue line).
