About This Property

This historic property is located in the heart of the vibrant Stadium district. We are two blocks from beautiful Wright Park, in the midst of an architecturally fascinating neighborhood awash in eye-popping examples of turn-of-the-century housing. Restaurants, theaters, shops, and entertainment are all within a short walking distance. About us: we are a small family with two boys, and we occupy the first two floors of the house. While the apartment is the entirety of the third floor, access is via a shared stairwell, so we would cross paths inside the house periodically. We would also need to negotiate a common thermostat, as one furnace services both the 2nd and 3rd floors. Lastly, we have a washer and dryer on the first floor which we are happy to share. Our ideal renter is thus someone who values having their own space, but is friendly, communicative, and committed to cooperative principles. The apartment is currently unoccupied, and though we are targeting a May 1st rental, we have flexibility about the start date. It is available as a short-term rental, with a minimum of 3 months. As one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Tacoma wrapped around a stunning historic high school, the Stadium District features lush hills, Victorian architecture, and stunning views of the bay. Stand on the sidewalk along North Stadium Way between the Washington State Historical Society building and the landmark Stadium High School and gaze out over the water. Then glance down -- the Stadium Bowl offers fantastic views of Commencement Bay and Puget Sound and is considered one of the best high school football stadiums in the country (you may have trouble focusing on the game, the view is so amazing).

The Stadium District is near Downtown Tacoma and is considered a business district. Here, you'll discover a variety of restaurants and shops, grocery stores and banks, coffee shops and corner bakeries. The district hosts several festivals and events, such as the Dickens Holiday Festival in December.
