About This Home
I'm looking to share my house in Downtown Raleigh. The time-frame for the lease is flexible, but would prefer +6 months. No month to month to start. all utilities included The space: Two level newly renovated home in downtown Raleigh. Two bedrooms upstairs, an office downstairs and my bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Wood floors and upgraded finishes throughout. Large dining room, kitchen and living room with open concept and powder room off the kitchen. In total: three bedrooms, small office and two and a half bathrooms. Office will be available for friends and family to stay for short amounts of time. Upstairs Small bathroom with bathtub and shower Washer and dryer in hall Linen closet Downstairs The all white kitchen has gorgeous quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher, beverage cooler, fancy fridge with icemaker and water dispenser). There is a nice front porch as well as a deck in the back. The house has central air conditioning (a/c) and heat. Entire house except your room will be fully furnished. Spacious backyard for sitting around a small fire with friends or working out. Great downtown Raleigh location that's walking distance to: Transfer Food Hall Moore Square Restaurants Bars Museums House beautifully rehabbed inside Must be ok with two rambunctious medium lab mixes, Tate (5 years) and Laney (4 years). They do not have to be allowed in your room, but they are allowed on the couch. They will most often be left out in the common areas during the day as they are well house trained. Me: I’m a dependable, communicative, outgoing, friendly, respectful 34 year old. I’m decently clean, but certainly not a clean freak by any standards. I might leave a pan soaking in the sink for a day, but will never let things get super nasty. I have lived with many people over the years. I’m good about taking out the recycling and trash and I prefer for the common areas to stay relatively clutter free and tidy. I’m proactive about cleaning when it needs to be done and am not afraid to scrub the toilet or clean the microwave. About my living habits: I like to have friends over for game and movie nights, but not all the time. I enjoy throwing parties every so often as well, but would let you know in advance. I like to go out on the weekends, but I’m respectful and do my best to not wake you if coming home later. You would be welcome to have friends over as long as it's communicated ahead of time. I don’t smoke or do drugs and would rather live with people who are similar in that aspect, although I could live with very occasional casual use. In my free time, I like to socialize and play soccer. I’m pretty much always down to hang, but am totally fine having someone who just does their own thing. I’m very low key and avoid conflict and drama. I typically don't spend much time in my bedroom, but I stay pretty busy so I'm not home all the time. I work from home 3 days a week and alternate between the office (off the kitchen) and the living room. Jasmine, 30, is originally from Sacramento, CA. She has a beautiful 2.5 year old medium husky, Skye who is super sweet. They like to go for bike rides and long walks and are super social and nice. What you should be like: respectful clean (but not OCD) pay rent on time nice person easy to live with sweet to Tate and Laney

Raleigh, North Carolina's state capital, topped Business week's 2011 list as America's Best City for its winning combination of affordable living, job opportunities and culture. The South Central Raleigh neighborhood sits just east of the city's business district, serving as the residential heartbeat of the community. With access to hundreds of restaurants and bars nearby and an astounding number of museums and historical attractions too, this is one of the most desirable places to live in the area. Raleigh's ability to thrive is, in part, due to its proximity to the three major state university's - Duke, North Carolina State and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Known as the "City of Oaks," Central Raleigh's streets are lined with hearty oak trees.
There are amazing apartments for rent with incredible views of the city, as well as single-family homes in a variety of styles.
