This upstairs apartment is located in a very nice 4-plex near Santana Row in San Jose. The unit is approximately 850 sq. ft., is in excellent condition and very private. It has a large patio, air-conditioning, one car enclosed garage (with automatic garage opener), has lots of storage and has very considerate and friendly neighbors. It also has a designated parking spot at the back of the building with lots of driveway space. It comes with recessed lighting in the kitchen and bath, a dishwasher.. As the owner, I actively manage and maintain all of my units which I often visit daily. The unit will be available approximately May 1, 2024. Water, garbage and gardening are all paid by the owner - the occupant only pays their own PG&E bill. The security deposit is $1,800 with a one-year lease - month to month rent thereafter. The building is very well maintained, and my rents are usually well below market value which explains why tenants seldom move. I take pride in having excellent tenants many of which have been with me for over 25 years. No pets or smokers please. There is no charge to file an application, and if you respond, any additional information you can provide about yourself will be appreciated. This is a large (1,000 sq. ft.) recently renovated apartment that is upstairs (no apartment above or below) has a large front patio and enclosed garage below. As you can see from the pictures, it is located in a very nice neighborhood close to Hwy 280 and Santana Row, which is within walking distance. There is also additional designated parking directly behind the apartment. There is a shared laundry room right below the apartment with new Speed Queen appliances. The owner manages the apartment, is there numerous times per week, and is very responsive to any issues that may arise. The rent is offered below market value, but the owner is very interested in attracting tenants that will be respectful and good neighbors to those who have lived there over 15 years. The security deposit is $2,000, and the apartment will be available the first week of April, 2026. If you are interested in the apartment, please be prepared to provide quality references, and any information about yourself that will be helpful to the selection process. No Smoking or Pets are permitted. The current tenant will occupy through March 2026; therefore, the apartment will be shown upon request and permission by the current tenant who is moving into their new home.
