About This Home
First off, sorry if this is in the wrong place... It is a separate apartment, but you will be sharing the bathroom with two other people. The apartment has three rooms. A bedroom (appx. 8 ft x 12ft) and a living room (appx. 12 ft x 12 ft), and a kitchen (appx. 4 ft x 6 ft). The utilities (gas, water, electricity, and garbage) are included in the rent. It can be furnished, or unfurnished. And, you'll have a parking spot, if you need it. If you have any questions, or would like to see the apartment, feel free to call, text, or e-mail me. It's available August 7, 2026. -Roy Note: There is an off-street parking spot available, but the driveway has a very steep entrance. A lot of low-sitting cars scrape their bottoms when they come and go. You've been warned. Also, if you want to buy a street parking permit from the city of Urbana, I believe they cost about $135 for one year.

There's much more to Champaign's sister city of Urbana than you might think. It is a lively college town, home to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, it has a long and fascinating history, and it is family-friendly and beautiful. While it is usually tied to its next-door twin, Urbana stands out on its own -- Downtown Urbana is the city hub, home to Market at the Square, a farmers market that began in 1979. The historic downtown features historic architecture, bike lanes (and plenty of bike racks), sidewalk cafes, period lighting, and a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
In addition to the university, Urbana is home to the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, a research institute located on the university's campus. The neighborhood attracts those with children, thanks to its top-ranking schools, and it features beautiful parks, such as Crystal Lake Park and Meadowbrook Park.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
