Sugar Top is a gated resort that offers a 24/7 front desk host, security and a guard at the gate. This condo is available for weekly, monthly, and annual rentals. Nearby: Food Lion, Subway, McDonalds, China House Restaurant, Fred and Larry’s Coffee, Pedalin Pig, and Bella’s Italian Restaurant are all within a ten minute drive. Inside the Condo The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and the guest bedroom has two full sized bunk beds. There are lots of board games in the guest bedroom. The baseboard/central heat and ceiling fans in each bedroom and family room ensure you’ll be comfortable no matter what time of the year you stay. Enjoy watching your favorite shows and movies on one of our three tvs. In the family room there is a Roku device, feel free to log in and stream any of the apps you have (you must provide your login information). The desk has a charging station with an assortment of charging cables. The drawer below the family room television has plenty of books to choose from. We provide a Keurig coffee maker and a regular coffee maker. Tenants will have access to the entire condo with the exception of the locked closet door in the master bedroom and the storage rooms with locks. This complex has many outdoor video recording cameras that actively record video and audio. Tenant Access You must be at least 25 years old to rent this condo, and children must be 8+ years. The names and ages must be provided, and drivers licenses will be requested at check in. Tenants will stop and check in at the guard gate, park up at the entrance of Sugar Top (there are five spots available), unpack your belongings, then park and ride the shuttle back to the entrance. Check in at the front desk and receive a key(s) for the unit. There are several luggage carts, shopping carts, and a wheel chair at the entrance. To request the shuttle you can call the front desk or dial 0 from the landline in the kitchen. Please return the key(s) when checking out. Also, an indoor heated pool, two indoor hot tubs, wet/dry sauna, and gym with locker rooms and showers, quiet reading area, large outdoor sunset deck, picnic area with iron grills, and wheelchair accessibility. There is also a concession stand in the lobby. Additional Information For all skiers, there is a place to keep your skis and ski boots as they are not allowed in condos per homeowner’s rules. Ask the front desk for the storage location. In snowy seasons you WILL need an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. The weather on Sugar Mountain can change in an instant. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving. Winter weather can occur here from November to April. In warmer seasons please watch carefully for wildlife while driving. There are foxes, deer and lots of fawns in late spring/early summer. We do get heavy fog that will usually lift when the sun comes out. Due to the mile-high elevation, Sugar Top has no air conditioning. There are three ceiling fans, one in each bedroom and one in the family room. July temps average 55-70 degrees. Tenants staying one+ months may use the condo's washer/dryer. For all others, there is a laundry room just a few steps to the left when exiting the condo. It is approximately $4-$6 per load.
