Just 35 miles southwest of Milwaukee, Burlington sits within a nexus of rivers, parks, and lakes. The city itself was incorporated in 1900 and has a vibrant downtown area with historic buildings and quaint shops.

Wherever your apartment is, you're sure to be near a park in Burlington. There's Echo Park on the lake, Devor Park just outside the downtown area, and plenty more that line the waterways, including a dog park. Every year on Memorial Day weekend, Burlington hosts the Burlington Backyard Bash (formerly the Burlington Jamboree), a four-day festival with carnival rides, live music, and food that's become the city's signature end-of-May event.

Once you've found a rental, I-43 and I-94 will be your best friends if you commute to work, or if you're simply travelling the rest of the state.
